Graduate student in theology and literature. Speechwriter. Dog hair picker-upper. Enthusiastic fan of wheat beers. Episcopalian, which means I pray this on a regular basis:
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
That last bit? That’s the sh*t that keeps me up at night. I can handle being sorry for what I’ve done — I mean, most of it’s been incredibly fun and totally worth it — but the stuff I’ve unintentionally left undone? (Like the apostrophe in the title of this blog, which you can either believe is intentionally ironic, or the result of the host domain not allowing punctuation in titles). That’s the terrifying part that leads me to crack open another beer. Join me, won’t you?!
